By SIFA Convenes Meeting of National Shooting Organisations
The Shooting Industry Foundation of Australia (SIFA) convened a pivotal meeting in Canberra on 14 May 2025 with key national shooting organisations, including the Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia, Field & Game Australia, Shooters Union Australia, IPSC Australia, Sporting Clays Australia, and the National Rifle Association of Australia.
The purpose of the meeting was to explore how we can unify shooting organisations so that we can coordinate our efforts on key issues and strengthen our voice in advocating for all licensed firearms owners, businesses, and the broader shooting and hunting community.
The discussions were constructive and focused on areas of mutual concern and opportunity. With planning and development ongoing, further announcements on this alliance will be made in due course.
We thank all the organisations who made the effort to attend this very important initiative, and we look forward to working with them in advancing the interests of all Australian shooters.
