SIFA welcomes Winchester Australia’s Jeff Gordon as Chairman.
At the recent SIFA Annual General Meeting, Jeff Gordon Director of Winchester Australia, was elected as the SIFA Chairman.
A lifelong shooter and outdoor enthusiast, Mr Gordon commenced working at Winchester Australia in 2009 and was made a Director in 2017. On accepting the nomination, Mr Gordon said “I hope to continue the amazing work of Luca Scribani Rossi our inaugural chairman. SIFA has grown and evolved, and the future looks very bright.
I hope to offer the SIFA team maximum support and want to be actively engaging with industry and government to achieve positive outcomes for all industry participants. I am committed to actively encouraging industry to come together and work in unison to grow the shooting sports in Australia”.
The SIFA Board and staff are extremely grateful for the time, efforts and leadership that inaugural Chairman, Beretta Australia’s Managing Director, Luca Scribani Rossi has devoted over the last 7 years in the position.
Whilst Mr Scribani-Rossi is looking forward to a well deserved break, his commitment to SIFA and the Australian shooting industry remains steadfast; “I look forward to continue to serve on the board of SIFA for the years to come and to contribute to make SIFA the ‘go to’ shooting industry organisation for its efficiency, professionalism and trustworthiness” Mr Scribani Rossi said.
Mr Gordon’s appointment comes at a time where SIFA has been focusing on the development of a strategic vision, and as a result, 2022 will be a very busy year as SIFA undergoes change and expansion.
